Suicide Attacks

Been meaning to ask this, searched and didn't find anything. I thought I heard that the game warns you if you are about to attack someone and it will be considered suicide-no damage to the defender.

But a few weeks ago I got attacked 3 times by this guy i farmed a few days previous, and all 3 of his attacks had the 'one additional note: the forces of ____ were so completely overwhelmed...". It just seems wierd to me that he'd attack if it was doomed to fail, even he is a po'd newbie.

I don't think it does warn you... I can sell some weps and test it I suppose...
I did test it... Only person I could find had about 12Mill defense, I attacked with 600K and got no message, so this is definantly a false rummor.
(And yes, I did reimburse him.)

Okay, thanks anyways. Guess that explains why he was willing to waste the turns and troops

Rotfl... I don't think it does... Why would anyone keep attacking someone whos Def was 25%+ more?.... Then again, why would anyone overlook the search button? :?
The actions of my peers is most confusing at times....I can only wait untill I make it into the next higher braket of players.

As far as I am aware there are two messages like this.
The first comes up when you're attacking someone with the same IP as yourself and says that the realm is too close so you can't attack it.

The second occurs in the battle report if you attack somone massively more powerful than you which says you were hugely overwhelmed.

That might be the cause of confusion.
