I realize there are a lot of you in DDE who woke up to find me gone, and are scratching your heads, wondering what just happened.
Was it the near continual beatdowns that finally got to me? No, ironically, running near-zero def actually always seemed to have benefitted more than hurt me. Did I turn traitor?
For the record, I would like to say, no I didn't tuck tail and run. In fact, my leaving (or at least taking a lengthy break) has precious little to do with SGW or the Never Ending War here, but rather it has much to do with a battle I have been fighting for several years now, and slowly losing.
So, rather than drag down my alliance and DDE overall with increasingly lengthy bouts of inactiveness, followed by my simply never logging in one day, I chose to leave before my increasing weakness of my account dragged them down.
It's been a ride...one I'd hoped to have stayed on til the very end, but I've had to face some pretty harsh realities in the last couple months...and one of those realities is that Demerol and Gaming just don't mix so well...
