Development Server

I know its early days, and development servers probably cost a fair bit of $$$ to run (Although, you'd only have to bring it online to test certain potential updates), but I'm going to suggest a development server.
New updates are always potential pitfalls. And as soon as you put something in, its a lot harder to take out without people moaning, especially if they invested in it. So, I'd suggest setting up a development server whenever funds/time allows to try out any new ideas/updates before they go live.
If there's something like this already in place, then ignore me
