So i have a friend who changed his race from tollan to tauri accidently, if he ascendeds again what happens?

he went from an ascended race to a non ascended race?

AFAIK if he ascendes he goes back to tollan, everything is cool.

Can any one else advise?

does he have to do all ascensions again?

No, even if you deascend, when you ascend again you go right back where you were without losing any ascentions.
