A question demanding and answer

There is a question, that has been lurking in my mind for quite some time now and now after a lot of thinking about this 'delicate' thing, I realized that I need to know... I need to know... why?
I have my own point of view on this, and others also have, but I really, really, wanna get a proper answer on 'Why is this ˝server war˝ still ongoing'
Well actually change that to, What's the damn thing with this? Keep this without spam, just give me a reason why this started, why this is still going on, and why won't it end.
I can hardly wait for tomorrow when I'll see all your opinions (my migraine is hammering me) because right now I doubt I'll get a normal answer. Let the debate commence.

Why did it start?
Your answer to that question will depend on whoever you ask. Someone from the TFF side might tell you that the war started when FUALL broke the NAP and massed TJP, whereas someone from FUALL might tell you that TJP had already broken the NAP when Blahh and Zesh left their alliances to begin farming FUALL. Like all the largest wars which have occured in real life, there is considerable 'academic' debate as to the true causes.
Why hasn't it ended?
Well, firstly there's no surefire method of winning a war on this game. Both sides have claimed to be winning at various points, but the bottom line is that there's no proof; and no way for one side to incontestibly and undisputably declare itself the winner. All either side can do is keep on farming the other and do their best not to give up through boredom.
Secondly, some of the people on either side are very stubborn. Some of the rivalries and grievances which exist on either side of this conflict go back a long time; long before this war, and even before the first 'server' war. It'll take more than a few long winded posts about the future of the game, or the futility or war, to make these people forget how much they hate one another or the extent to which they are obsessed with not backing down and being the best.

Pretty much summed up right there. We may as well close the topic..
