Sabotage - possible problem?

Can anyone confirm if sabotage is working correctly?
I have attempted to sabotage someone and get a message saying they have no weapons... even though I know that they do.
Could this be related to the changes made to the weapons?

A similar thing happened to me last wave, I think it's just when the amount of weapons are so few. But it could be as you say, something to do with the update.

Im not sure.
Last wave I'm sure Zhar was able to sab me when I had only a few weapons.... I know I sold some off at the end, but I think I only had 4 left at that point.

Maybe your covert power is less than the weapon strength, I think that stops it as well

Edit - nope... I guess he must have too few weapons.
I tried sabbing some other guy who made the mistake of attacking me, and that worked just fine, lol.

was they person me as i had a sab in my logs with 376 and no weapons lost lol

yes and no.
I was originally trying to sab someone else, but it wasnt working, so i tested it on you because you were the only other person I knew that wasnt on PPT at the time.

I am having this same problem, I know he has weapons, enough to do 300 million damage... Yet it will not let me sabb him!!
I do not understand?

I had the exact same error message when trying to spy that account and I had covert turns too. So it must have been what Apogryph said.

the message is the same message your receiving is due to the being sabbed out.
the problem with the sabs is they have few weapons for start. but you can still normally sabb if you over send in spies. even though you can get in and sab someone with 100 spies they wont find weapons .. i always had to over send and then they would find weapons. for some reason when they are few spies sent they dont find weapons but you do succeed. it also usually gives you a message something close to this> " your agents were unable to find any weapons and they hope no one finds out any differently"

I often get this message and its very annoying, and yes I do have covert turns when I get the message so thats not the problem.
Apogryph... what exactly do you mean by phased.... that message you get when an account has had too many attacks or covert activity?? I'm 99% sure thats not the problem either.
A completely seperate question now.... Can I assume that Gods absolutely cannot be sabotaged?
