Empire: Total War

Ok, recently made the mistake of purchasing this game.. lol.
The Battles are ALOT more tactical.. they don't have a lot of excitement to them except when you see a few hundred red coats marching and shooting towards some frogs.
The Sea battles are pretty good at first too, and the grand campaign map is bloody MASSIVE. ON the other hand though... the campaign map itself is pretty shoddy even on good graphics and my laptop, its looks very.... cartoony.
The settlement management is a bit more awkward, but a little more detailed, does not pay off really though.
The battles get boring pretty quickly, they don't have the rush/excitement the MEDII Close Combat battles had.
Finally the user interface is pretty bland and the game setup when you are installing is ridiculously stupid, as too is how you play it from there on out (you have to use a completely separate system called steam.. *eye roll*). Last good point is you CAN play is online against other people.
All in all.. a great disappointment so far. I wouldn't waste my money on it again.. but I will play it a bit more and see if my opinion changes. So far, any Total War fan's out there, I would say stick with Rome TW and Med II TW, much better games.
