How the heck can someone be under 50mil army size and be ranked in top ten or better.

Top 10 isn't what it used to be, you'd need something like

Strike Action: 2,000,000,000,000
Defensive Action 2,000,000,000,000
Covert Action: 6,500,000,000,000
MotherShip Action 600,000,000,000

with nice planets and a decent covert level you should be easily able to get in the top 10 with a 50mill army! ~Thamuz~

ps i could be wrong tho, but someone will correct me if you can't get there on those stats!

A covert like that would be around 140-200 rank I believe, not sure about the others

I think your pretty close to correct Thumaz.

Most of the normal "top ranks" players are at war, and the rest really dont want rank 1 due to the possibility of actually having to fight or get massed. Since purg accounts cant get massed its not had to sink everything but lifers into your military and then live off farming.

Orpheus had half that and was rank 19 so.

Okay okay, 1T defense. 1T strike. Couple M spies along with his MS. That got him rank 11-19ish.

its somewhat interesting the most powerful accounts (Pre-war) always hid in the low ranks not tipping there hand to there unknowing victims only to see if u watched the alliance rankings them all jump to the top ranks at a turn change what did this mean war was a comming ... now all the great accounts are war torn but not beaten still there just hidding again untill a victim arises who needs it to once gain return to some glory now all these new top ranked accounts ..lol if all thse wars were over they would be ranked in the 1k's

What I find completely pathetic at the moment is it's possible to have defence consisting of 19 supers (aka massed into the ground), arm them and with sufficient other stats but not that high values on those 'other stats' and to be in Glory range.

Seeing a 50 Mill army realm player at rank 1 makes me sick, if perg is here to stay maybe it should have a max power level as well as a max army size. Also I here that perg has a 60 AT attack limit now, not only can real players not mass them, they cant even mass east other, whats the point of that ????

hmm, i reckon possible with 40mil or less....if you lifer suicide and build up to 40mil all trained in attack, defense spies and ac...no miners , just possible, would be interesting cept no one would be stupid enough to try it

I say if perg is used for what its purpose to grow at a slower pace once u have reached a certain power limit you should be auto kicked out since you have grown makes sense to me right if your ranked 1 in perg you obvously have time to play

limit perg to top 500 in the rankings, after u get higher than 500 you are auto booted, so eaither grow or go

im actually disgusted buy it. Before the "big war" i was about rank 200 with the same stats i have now, ok fine, im kinda on the spot cause if the war ends i will go down(rank 9 at this point). but those 50mil size ppl really don't deserve to be there ... makes me think evil thoughts. Specially that rank one person in pergatory, i wish he/she would be in normal
