Ahh, so you believe a war on TCC will prevent them from winning? I'm curious as to what it is you are trying to stop?
if it's TCC being the top alliance.. then there would be a better way to do it, which you will have to figure out for yourself, seen as you appear to be my enemy, and I'd not want to help you too much xP
If your trying to prevent a TCC member from winning the era, then a war is sure to help, but this early it is useless, because our incomes at this stage are minimal compared to the naq spent at the end. Farmed naq is more important/crucial at this stage
Such an attempt to keep us massed until the end of the wave would take great effort by many people. An individual account, or even 2-3 accounts, would not be able to keep up the pressure on an alliance long enough to affect the final result. No matter how skilled they are, or claim to be.
In the end, any attempt by a small group of players to do such a thing would end up with those players becoming snipers for the 2nd half of the wave (see kikaz most waves)
And as annoying as snipers are, they rarely have as much impact as they think they have. (again, see kikaz most waves)
That said, I believe there are 2 ways of stopping an individual winning a wave.
1.
Build up a good account, which means competitive army size (not top.. But at least 2/3rds of top)
You would need to store lots of turns, I'd say about 2-3weeks worth, so this wave 35-50k ats be good. These turns would allow you to farm lots of naq for the fight, as well as have lots of ATs to mass with.
Obviously you would need a good MS, and strike tech (or god tech in this wave)
About 3weeks from the end, there's usualy a push for stats, after every1 has finished UP and are trying to stake their claim on the top spots. That's when you strike, mass everything they have, even the last 10k spies. People will always retrain spies to hide naq from people, you should make sure every1 can see the lack of def, and excess naq. So they don't keep their income.
Then repeat daily. No matter how little they build, kill it, be willing to lose your army in this way, and they shouldn't stand a chance of coming top.
But.. Having said all that. To be able to go into the last few weeks with a competitive army size, decent stats and an abundance of ATs would take a lot of skill. And would put you in with a chance of ranking highly yourself. Which brings me to my 2nd way.
2.
Win the wave.
It's people with the skill required to win the wave that TCC recruit. So to truly beat us, you must show you have the all around skill to play, and beat us in the fashion the game was made - rank1 at the end.
We play to win, war/fighting adds to the fun, but is not the only challenge.
I'd love to have a wave with every1 fighting instead of TCC just dominating, but the truth is, being in TCC helps us win, because we get to communicate with other skilled players, and collectively come up with better ways to play than we would have alone. Therefore benefiting us all.
Fighting us is fun, and we enjoy fighting back. Being our enemy is fun, but so is being our friend

This was a crazylong post, sorry, was bored on the train home.
