wat are the bot in the replicator army and how come you cant train them?

Bots are replicator form of mercs... You can't train mercs....
For more info i'd read the stikies. Esp. The Dietys Guide.

Ah well, may as well give complete breakdown so I can sab the next n00b that asks....
You have Untrained Units, they make a small amount of Naq per turn
You can train these 'UU' into Attack and defense soldiers but they won't make any naq anymore. You can further train these into 'Super Soldiers' for about 89K, you cannot untrain 'SS'.
In addition you can buy a certain numer of mercs, dependig on your UP (Unit production) and trained millitary. You can buy Attact mercs, Defense Mercs, and Untrained Mercs (which are useless, they don't make Naq, don't fight etc.)

Your UP determines the cost of your mercenary upgrade which is on the technology page. The higher your UP, the higher the cost of the mercenary upgrade. The mercenary upgrade determines the percentage of your trained units that can be mercenaries. Say you have 10,000 trained attacking units (regulars and supers) and yours Mercenary Upgrade level is 20%, then you can purchase 2000 attack mercenaries. You can have a UP of 1 and still purchase millions of mercenaries.
