No ascension button

Has anyone else got enough points to ascend but can't because the button isn't there??
Just to check I'm not being a total n00b, it is 1001 points right?

Yes, but there is a time limit between each ascention, hove you ascended recently? I think its 2 weeks minimum between ascentions.
