I have evidence of another feeder, and feel I should alert the community.

I caught player '666', id=26997, farming low amounts, banking, then withdrawing his bank (about 3.5bil) which promptly vanished. I've seen him do this on several occasions for a few hours at a time. I hit some of the naq myself, and messaged him asking if he was feeding, his reply was 'Maybe, he pays well'. I caught him at it again a little while ago, and he messaged to say he had enough, so he was logging off. That was at about 5 minutes before a turn change.

Right on the next turn change at 20.31.01 (1 second after the turn), i get hit for my naq, which I found surprising because I hadnt been hit all day, and this guy clearly knew I was online and therefore probably not on critical alert. I asked him how he knew and he said 'his cousin told him', I said I presume thats '666' and somehow I dont think you are nephews, he replied with this

'he is my nephew, I am his uncle. and yes he was giving me some naq so what, I give him 10 to 1 in main. which is perfectly legal. So I\'m sure he would do the same for you if you would like. All you have to do is ask him. '

Sorry to have to do this, but no matter how many times I hear that feeding is legal, it is still cheating in my opinion and I know others feel the same way.

its not cheating as long as they are actually different ppl...

The funny thing is that he admitted to cheating because it is actually illegal to do Xserver trading (main stuff for Q stuff).

Still, as long as it really is his cousin, the poor fellow shouldnt be banned...maybe warned.

Again, I know that the 'rule' is that feeding is ok... god knows why... but I also know that a lot of people dont like it and will mass the people who take part in feeding.

Also there is the question of cross server trades, as you said.

I wouldnt necessarily expect him to be banned, or even warned. He even seemed like an ok guy from our messages, but cheating is cheating, and I intend to see justice done in the form of massings at the very least.

I dont know about everyone else, but I will certainly be paying CyberDemon a visit later.

Has me polarized, even though I've never seen the account before.
Oh, and did you know, FEARLESS's account used to be called Cosmic Terror? Check the legends.

Nothings for certain, but as I say, it's interesting.

I'd like to say it was me but then again, I'm IP banned.

There are ways around that, but like I said, nothing for sure.

It's called a proxy, or i believe if you reformat your computer your IP changes...(not 100% on that one).

In other words, IP bans don't do much at all unless the player is a moron.

The fact that you play a game like this (which generally means you are somewhat interested in various computer related things...like proxies) means that you playing ignorance on knowing any way around an IP ban simply makes it look more suss..

Although that is just my opinion

Any person that has been playing this game for any amount of time has got a feed of some sort, so I think if a person is over abusing this, then action should be taken. It was taken advantage of by some, and they were punished. That is if they finish in the top 30...they have had a feed.

And I can say that until I started reading on this forum I had no clue what a proxy was. So I guess I fall into that stupid category Hippy.

I just read the first part of this, and from what I understand its not X server trades, if its his cousin or nephew isnt its just possible that he is looking after his friends and family on main?

thats all I really can say at this point, like I said I havent read all the posts...

Nice catch slug... If you want help massing him give me a shout this weekend when i get home. I detest feeding.

I have a question though Apo you detest players being fed yes?

well then why do play in an alliance with players (if not this era, in the past) that have used feeders?

I know this for a fact via pm's a few era's back when I farmed one of TCC members feeder, I got a message telling so, I wont name the player, and im not saying that he is still doing this, personally I dont care, but the point is prudent regardless if it legal or not...

I wish that I still had a copy of that pm to post here, but sadly that was a few era's back and as you know all messages are deleted when the era starts...

...It creates a magical pony which jumps into your computer and makes all IP bans go away...then, just to make things better, it also gives you your old account back with 50tril naq on it!!! wow yay for the magical pony!!

...But seriously...there is a thing call google, and if you type in a 'keyword' such as 'proxy' and then 'read' for a few mins, then maybe you can make a half useful post on the matter
