Question

I apologise if this has been anserwed somewhere else, I did search for it in the magic search box but no joy.

So here go's I've recently noticed that despite having more than enough top drawer attk weps ie x302's for my attack troops, all my lower (spare) attk weps ie. mini nuke's are getting damaged when I make a raid. Has anyone else come across this before? Is it a known bug? And what can I do to fix it?

If this issue has been dealt with elsewhere could someone point in that direction.

Thanks in advance :)

I think it has to do with the weapons strength. When I first started I had the same problem. I bought weapons like I would in a real situation. Firearms, grenades, personnell tanks, you name it. I was advised by some of the veterans here, to just by the one top weapon for each of the catergories. I.E. your X302 for attack and your ion cannon for defense. It's cheaper to repair after a fight. Just passing on advice given to me.

ALL of your weapons will sustain damage during an attack.

That is, all attack weapons will get damaged when you attack someone; and all your defense weapons will get damaged when you are attacked. Regardless of whether they have a soldier to wield them or not.

The ways around it are to train more troops to wield your extra weapons, sell off the extras or cop the damage.

Well that explains it succinctly, thank you. Although it seems a little odd that my p90's never get fired and yet they still get damaged. Something to change maybe? :-)

Use only the top weapons, saves tremendously on repairs after a raid or attack. Also look for a CO that can help you if you haven't already.

problem comes in on the server load. Presently all weapons are damaged equally so only 1 calculation is needed. if you make it so each weapon is calulated seperately then you have to repair each one sepertely and the server has to calc each weapon seperately. Before the server war you were looking at most of the first page having 50 mill plus weapons on each account and each would require a calculation.

It would drasticly increase the server lag and load and not be worth the effort.

also, if the unused weapons didn't get damaged one could abuse it to store naq if their bank is full.

One could also argue that an unused weapon becomes damage as it collects dust overtime :P constant maintenance is required !!
