Is that by any chance your attack logs, or the alliance attack logs, or your private messeges, those pages get very cluttered and do sometimes take more time to load, I usually get around

Time to Load Page base.php at 12:40 : 0.963854 seconds

Inbetween that and 3 seconds on a bad day.

However those 3 i mentioned can take a lifetime.

My Page useually doesnt load as quick as the page is sent however, as my PC and Net are a little slow :(

The game is incredibly slow. I've had cases where far away from a round change, it takes 30 seconds to over a minute to load the armory or to repair weapons. Heaven forbid you ever click two buttons at once, then you're almost guaranteed a long wait time.

on some occasions takes me few minutes to load page at turn change, usually 30-40 secs.....

there's no way admin can speed this up?

When will those thousands of long time abandonned tiny accounts, with under 15k army size (and no supporter status...), be finaly deleted, so we will can say bye bye to this damn lag?

It's been asked for monthes, and never been done again for over 2 years now. Why? :?
To have delusion of a very popular game with 105k accounts or so? :? What's the point in that??

Exactly, it is more important to get advertising revenue by claiming there are over 100k accounts when 50k+ are never played and utterly worthless, can't raid or farm them, ever (sub-10k size).

I'm done with this pathetic game, when i reach origin tomorrow i think i'll just sell up and let someone else waste their time playing my account.

Jason will never fix it, he doesn't care one bit about the speed, just the money, even if it means all the active players end up leaving and there is no one to donate anymore.

hell, lets just ask Qacol to tell jason he's quitting, he might actually fix this joke of a game if that happens.

It is true, this is getting beyond a joke.

Even massing holding the key down, you should be getting in 7-8 hits on someone on nox and critical. I barely manage 4-5 and that's with not bothering to let up on the enter key for minutes at a time.

Now of course the question is, is it the little accounts because i wouldn't have thought they'd have made much difference between the turn scripts, or could it be the advertising itself?

It does speed up a little bit if you turn that advertising off.

Or could it be just the server that it's on is too slow for the traffic?

I'm no expert on these things but whatever it is... something needs to be done as we've put up with it long enough.

People can tell me 'oh it's a free game' well that's fine. I'll go play another free game.

Indeed, massing isnt too easy, and a few times (there have been a few cases ive heard of other people) the game has to catch up, and carries on massing for a few minutes afterwards...even if you close you Internetz  That was a bit of a shock to me first time that happened.

I have .. ~35 pm's in my inbox, hardly that many. And yet trying to read them :? :

Time to Load Page inbox.php at 14:53 : 28.672186 seconds

Time to Load Page inbox.php at 15:03 : 36.506495 seconds

Time to Load Page inbox.php at 15:14 : 18.071171 seconds

I could swear it took longer than that also #-o

There have been a lot of topics about loading times and lag. Military Experience, number of accounts, rankings. .been a number of theories.

All we can do, is point it out again and again, in the IRC Meet.

Well in past there was about 800 people online. Sure there wasn't server war, but for example during CIA vs CoPs, I don't recall game being that slow. And beleive me, there was much action back then, with almost twice active players. So it can't be excess of players.
So, what could it be?
I sugested admin a while ago after a large poll to do some changes. Among them, unrank ME...One of reasons I suggested it: one rank less to calculate after turn change.
Don't know what admin decided after "considering it", me having university courses during first meeting on irc, I can't make it, and keep up to date.
Another reason could be accounts, and even if it's not this, it would hurt noone to have them gone. Many people are quite annoyed to see this bunch, helping nobody, just stretching ranks even more, and making ascending in G&R easier.
Otherwise, I don't see any reason for it.
My inbox taking sometimes 25 seconds to load...that's crazy! We get less & less people, and game gets slower..how can it be possible?
It doesn't have to do with multiple games on same server, as origins or ascended aren't really slow.

Go figure...

The more people that are online the slower it usually gets. I've noticed that around the times of 12:00 Server Time(since I am only around then but it might be earlier) towards 22:00 Server Time it is really bad. After those times, it usually gets a nice bit faster. Especially after that 03:10 lagfest.

well dont do that, then i wouldnt sell you turns or get naq from you anymore.

even tho with the lag now, i wouldnt be able to use said naq that i recieved from you, because it would be farmed before i could use it.
