ME ranks should go or change only twice a day..
I can't think atm what else should be changed..

I like the ME to show, but it doesn't need to have a rank. I don't hate all ME chasers, i can think of things that are worse.

1) only update the ME ranking once a day no need to keep it updated all the time every turn.

Removing ME won't stop random massers. They will still mass randoms and gloat about it. And updating ME only once per day would be good, however would that make one turn have major delays?

No, but even if it did it doesn't really matter as it's one flippin turn. A better question to ask is if whether or not changing the ME rank to update only once a day will have kind of significant impact on the lag.


What about the lag happens at random times and not at all related to the turn change? I vote Jason gets new/more/better servers.

Changing how often ME rank updates has been mentioned to Admin mulitple times. Maybe I am remembering incorrectly but he didn't seem to think it would make much difference.

As for mid turn lag, Admin did mention 'lag staggering'. The idea was for people to experience the lag at different times, at random. I also thought he decided not to do it

as GC said in another thread ... thelag started when pages started to get compressed for faster loading

so decompress them again

That sentence seems to be the opposite of what you would expect to be said if they didn't care.

Agree about the ME rank, update maybe once a day? Also agree with Jack, harder,better,faster,stronger servers would be nice.

Then you did not get my point

You can have a high ME from actually playing the game without being focused on getting a high ME score ... it is just a nice side effect

they call it an "accident"

massing people for ME happens accidentally too oh and to tetrismonkeys comment, whether there is a rank for ME or not u say **Filtered** like that and u will get "randomly" massed day in day out
