Finally made it home from work at a normal time for a change, made the Admin chat. Asked about potential solutions for the rampant new accounts creation in Quantum, sounds like the Admin working on a solution that would limit New account creation in Quantum to one new account per IP per day... Interesting. Sounds like it is still Work-in-progress, but a solution may be forthcoming.

Also, Admin working on a new code that will track this issue so I have copied some of the transcript from the chat here for you to see:

[18:19] <adminHere> yup :)
[18:19] <Affirmation_Q> In Quantum, we seem to have a problem with new accounts running rampant...
[18:19] <adminHere> i need to do a 'stop' on that...i have the code, just need to test/update
[18:19] <Affirmation_Q> Whole new cheat strategy, create account, feed off the PPT NAQ, etc
[18:19] <adminHere> many banned for that so far...
[18:20] <Squishymaster> GOD people are annoying
[18:20] <Affirmation_Q> Have there been any covnersations on how we could curb this in Q??
[18:20] <adminHere> a_q -- i know how. i limit IPs to 1 reg / day
[18:20] <Affirmation_Q> Cool, I had NO ideas how to resolve... Thanks!!
[18:21] <Squishymaster> or allow them to create a 2nd account and when a 2nd account is created from one ip delete the first hehe
[18:21] <Affirmation_Q> Has that already been enacted??
[18:21] <squishie> that would be harsh on legitimate people at the same IP Squishymaster although doesnt sound like a bad idea otherwise
[18:22] <Squishymaster> Didn't sound like it has been implemented, but something hes been working on
[18:22] <Squishymaster> yea, I'm cruel :D
[18:22] <Affirmation_Q> No, I would think the benefits would outweigh the cons, given the current Q climate.
