I know that this section deals with the game, but I'm not sure where I would post an addition that I would like to propose for the forum. If it doesn't belong here, sorry.

I would propose that a dedicated birthday section be added to the forum, where one can give birthday wishes to the person. There are at least 3 birthdays a day on these forums, and at least 1 of them is active. If this doesn't go, it's okay, I would just like to hear some thoughts about this.

as long as we can block seeing it liek the spam temple

birthday threads belong in this&that, but they are allowed for short time periods in general so the things that only read general will notice them as well... that is how we remember the policy...

having a section just for birthdays is unneccessary, it would only crowd up a already crowded forum...

I dont think there is need for another forum area. ATM people are posting their happy b-days in general where a mod will ether lock or move it after 24 hours. That way people can wish others a happy birthday without the need of having another area to visit/mod. Just my oppinion though

I agree with FreeSpirit.

Also, I don't feel as though we have enough 'Happy Birthday' threads for them to warrant their own section in the forum. Most of the time they only appear occasionally, and for 'high profile' users. I also feel as though we already have too many sections in this forum as it is, and too many of them remain underused.

And I'm happy to continue allowing celebration annoucements to sit in the general section for a day or two before moving them on.

What is with people's obsession with getting new sections? Seriously?

Some whizkid decided that 'alliance announcements' weren't appropriate for general, so they ended up getting their own section. How often is it used, and how many people regularly check it? See for yourselves.
