Do to lack of time and connection speed i've been idle for 6 months. Nothing in my attack log untill the morning after prom when i've been masssed to nothing. Any reason for this? DDE you'd be the ones to blame. I love how quickly old allies forget who their friends are when they are bored.

Sign of the times mate, massing is so cheap and easy that it is done without reason, and the empires are so big that having a few friends in them wont spare you from random pointless attacks, since those massing may not even know the members of their own empire, let alone friends of their fellow members.

It probably had something to do with you being 'idle' for 6 months.. reasonable time to assume you have left and gone away. It really isn't their fault.

Whats the point of playing a game if it's just to grow?

This would be the wrong game then to play - it's a war game.

I completely agree this is a war game, never been a stat builder myself and been in more wars than I can remember BUT the wars have reasons, objectives and eventually they end so you can move on to the next one, the so called 'server war' will not end and when attacked by DDE the choices are just take it or join the unended farm fest.

Mass what ? The only players in DDE who build defs worth massing are JT and Deni, and they only do because their MSs dominate the battlefield.

Sorry Mark but you seem to have lost your way, glory is beating someone your equal or better, honor is in a fair fight, 1-v-1 or alliance-v-alliance, courage requires you have something you risk losing, and a surprise random massing of someone offline is not a victory. Whole empires jumping on small alliances or individuals and this 'fight one of us you fight us all' policy is just cowardly.

This is not a dig at DDE in particular, all the empires have been just as guilty at different times.
