Indeed. I've wanted this a long time. I think since march

And yet...Now seems the time to say it.

It should be able to pay covert levels in deposits, of course at a higher price than buying it all at once.

I want to implement this cause the game has gone too much into being on ppt, not being a great player. And now since the market arrived, I guess forum aren't making all that money either So please please PLEASE install this.

Spy levels can also be bought by effectively storing your naquadah by investing in more top attack weapons - I bought level 19 this way before I ascended.

However - I would not be against such a suggestion as deposits - but I belive the cost should be significantly higher overall - any thoughts?

Maybe like a % thing... 10% added to the spy lvl cost

I would say at least 10% - perhaps higher.

Also - you do not acquire the spy level until you have paid your final deposit.

So, how many payments need to be made? 3/4/5? Flexible?

maybe you should be able to have as much desposits as you want you just keep putting money in tioll you reach the final amount, make it 25% more costly.

ya know, ive been thinking something like this for a long time would kick ass, kinda use it as a bank you cant withdrawl from(hypetheoreticaly i guess) so like, if ya have spare naq and you dun know where to put it...just put it into your next spy lvl, every time you click the spy lvl button, all your on hand naq goes into it, decreasing the cost of the lvl...basicly, but you are just paying over time

hee hee, ten percent? that would be full cost for us replis, no complaining here.

if this is to be implemented, then it needs to be structured - so you have to pay deposits in equal amounts, not just a couple of million naq there, a few hundred thousnad here - as this would result in no naq being available.

So if your spy level costs 1 billion, and you elect to pay in 4 instalments you must pay in 4 equal instalments of 250 million (+ a percentage).

You could even set it so that you ahd to pay each instalment by a certain time (customisable) - and if you fail to pay by that time, you forfeit all previous payments. This would force people to think about what they are doing.

I'm against this idea.

There already is a mechanism for buying in deposits....they're called weapons. They increase the cost by 20% (or less for Tauri atack and Asgard defence). I also like buying weapons more because people can mass and sabotage them....not as safe as this deposit thing.....much more competitive and better for the game.#

im with you on that one magni.

deposits on getting spy levels would widen the gap between weak and strong. strong players could get big levels, say 23 or 24 (25 and 50bill naq respectively) alot more easily. granted weaker player could get levels quicker because they cost less but the difference is small when a 50mill covert is doubled compared to a 500bill covert being doubled.

my thoughts = no to deposits on getting covert levels, although i would be lying if i said id never wished i could have that benefit!

I mentioned the weapons thing myself higher up.

why don't we mack the % a sliding scale ie. 90% for deposits under 1k, 80% for deposits under 1mil, 50% for deposits under 2mil, 25% for deposits over 2mil.
It would discurege players from gust dumping small amounts in, But these values could be a bit low

after each payment it adds 10% onto the remaining cost... that way it is MUCH cheaper if you do it in less payments, and some levels are still hard for beginners to afford
