If you have enough G&R for your next ascension, you can tell by the UP requirement.

hereIf you don't, have a look at the game calculators around. If you train one unit, and get your power per unit for one stat, you should be able to work out which ascension it is.

as Cap said, you can use 1 weapon power, income, and others, but the ascended requirements is the quickest and easiest.
