The game "backup" ( ~0300 - 0315 Gametime ) if I remember correctly, doesnt' tend to log you out, but does lag the game terribly. Happens every day like clock work.
However.
Has anyone noticed a second daily problem at around 0400 - 0415 Gametime? At this time, if you're logged in, you are fine, but people trying to log in can't get in?
If you take a look at the 'sgw slow - report here ' topic in this section, I think you will notice a lot of the log in problems are about this time. Not at a different time than the normal daily lag, but in addition to it.

yep. happened to me yesterday. don't know the exact time but it was around 4:15 game time.

I haven't noticed this myself, however, which could be related, the server is running quite slow in general. Unsure if this is linked

This is all I get no matter how many times I try to log in. Screen doesn't change. I have the latest Firefox and am being very careful to put in the right code, my username, e-mail, and password. Still can't log in.

Yep, i tried to sign on today and failed for a good 10mins or so, happened to me yesterday also. Happened to me and a couple of other OE guys a few days back too... every damn time i come on my comp it takes me 10mins+ to log in. I guess I'm signing on when its doing the 'backup'
