i was trying to buy defending merc and it keep on saying
You do not have enough resources to pay, are attempting to get no product, or are over your merc limit.

You can only have 65.00 percent (base of 25 plus 40 percent in upgrades) of your trained troops as mercenaries.
Beyond that, you do not have enough troops loyal to you to ensure compliance to your orders.
You now have:
320000 Trained Mercs.
820000 Trained Military Units.
You can have a maximum of 533,000 Trained Mercs.

and there are defense merc on the market
Defending Mercenaries 3,000 Naquadah 99,900,200

and i have 260k defense supers and 0 merc and i have Naquadah: 1,132,531,063,403

make sure you read the rest of the fine print


ADDITIONALLY - each Merc (attack or defence) is paired with a 'super soldier' (attack or defence). This means that you can only have as many attack/def Mercs as you have supers of that type. (plus 10% for each merc level)

yeah i know that like i said i have 260,000 defense supers and 0 merc and i was trying to get 50,000 more defense merc(so it would be a total of 50,000 defense merc)

try selling 1 or buying just one.

if all else fails have a friend buy the mercs, become their officer and let them transfer them to you.

ok i got it fix so can you close it

hold up....im getting the same issue :s i just ascended now i cant buy mercs and yeah i have supers lol
