I would like to point out that this Tuesday, the 19 of may, is the international day of hepatitis. On this day I would invite everybody to learn more about the disease, as it will benefit us and by that we also show some sympathy and compassion to those suffering from it.
In short:
Hepatitis is virus type disease and there are many forms (A-G at least). The way of getting infected is form dependant (from sexual transmitted forms to only blood transmitted), but all have in common serious to deadly consequences if not detected and treated in time (usually some form of liver cirrhosis or cancer and additionally other vital organs can be attacked). Detecting infection is very problematic for form C (at least), since symptoms are for most people hardly noticeable until very late in disease progression so preventive clinical testing is the only sure way to know.

I would like to urge all to bring focus on this issue tomorrow, read up on it by finding your own country Association and bring me the link plus contact information on people we can contact as the Danish Association want to get in contact with more to work with them as this issue with Hepatitis is not getting the attention it deserves alone in Denmark we are not funding the association with money to help inform, doctors and nurses in many practises or even hospitals do not know enough and we have used a lot of time to teach them, we have seen money for information campaigns go to associations not even working inside this field and the issue is not taken up as it should and we aren’t the only country. Hence my urge on this forum and on many other places in hope we can bring some attention to this issue.

Link to the Danish site plus portal where you can find links to the associations we know and work with already:

Best Regards

Sorry Nimras.
Moved to This, That, Those.

This is not a birthday or something thread, just something that doesn't really bother the main populace of SGW and has no relation to SGW at all. While it can be argued to have some value, it's not something that should be in General, imo.

:) Good luck with raising awareness and your organisation.

Well nothing to be sorry about.

I would also like to point out yet again we have a prove of how bad everyone wanna removed notice and work about this illness which is in many cases deadly and not only that HEP B is more infective than AIDS/HIV ever has but hey who cares we move it to some place where no one sees it.

Now i have broken my roleplay and been angered enough over this crap i will also point out we had open house yesterday and guess what the tyrkish press was there but the danish hell no not important.

This moving and the goverments around the world are more focused on stuff that is also important but are trying to make this one look like its not there its sad and thank you everyone for helping it on the way.

Now i will stop my ranting as i am tired and annoyed over how things went yesterday from the danish press and how this was moved so fast.

Next post will be in role as Nimras as you know me I think i will never breake role on this forum again or post something important like that as appreantly people dont care RIGHT UNIVERSE ??

Morten out
