Couple of questions...

I've searched high and low but can't get the specific answers i am after. Would appreciate some help for those in the know.

1) As a commander i have my contribution to officers set at 30%. Now i know i get 15% of the level their UP is at but is that their TOTAL or RAW UP?

2) What exactly is the deal with going on critical realm alert? I know what it does but what i am after is how much it costs. I was under the impression it was 70% of your income meaning that with 30% going to officers if i was on critical alert i should be producing NO naq per turn. This isn't the case. Can anybody help me out?

We'll Fifer, I'm only a noob here, but I read my share of newbie posts. Here it goes:

I believe that it's there raw that you get not their total. I have (had two) an officer(s) and I only got their raw, not their total. Plus, if you make yourself a commander, you only get 30% bonus on your RAW not TOTAL.

If it's true that you only receive 30% of income when on critical, then 30% of that 30% got to the officers.

No action=1M naq
crirical=300k naq
officers get= 30% of 300k

I hope I helped you and that I'm even a bit right.

I'm not sure about the first question, I used to think it was total but I'd have to re-read the updates and stuff before I can be certain. Since i'm unsure believe Respenus he also has evidence on his side (i've only got vauge memorys, and we know how bad mine memory is).

As to the second part, he is also correct I just wanted to make sure that you know that your commander's income is not taxed.
I.e. If you make a mil per turn go on critical, and your commander gives you 200K/turn. You will end up with 500K/turn (300K+200K).

Spend 1.5 months playing and get no farther than 4K... Spend three weeks in the forum and become a mini-esker... This game is more broken than DFLW...
Ok... Back it up, were going off topic. Return to the topic....must turn back to topic...

I looked it up and it doesn't say. You do get a % of your Officers UL clicks... but nothing about whether there total counts or not.
However I may have missed something.
The Guide(with a capital G) said nothing either way.. So while I lean towards it being total I cannot be sure. Again we will defer to Exp. and go with Respenus.

it's total, it's designed to be an incremental slope, allowing for officers of officers to help someone, to make up for the people who had 100's of officers before.

your still a n00b lol jk

it is total

your 30% to officers is taking off first then whats left of your income 70% of that is taking when you go on critcal

You are wrong, after 3 weeks I am more than 'just' a n00b am now a king of n00bs.. I embody n00bness to such a degree that it radiates from me and acts as a becon for all stupidity and sloth.

So it is total... I guess I wasn't completly out of my mind when I posted here:
