Well im positive that on each size upgrade you get a % of that attribute added to the over all attribute. but i just thought that paying a trill to upgrade you would get like a 25% of that attribute added for the upgrade

No...i can tell you 90% for sure it doesn't add 25% but i think the bonus itself gets a tad more expensive to buy...

I am 99.99% sure that attributes are increased with planet size...
Whether or not its worth it is another matter entirely... Unless you plan to get LOTS of attributes, it isn't worth the 1tril...

planets gain .1 per planet size for a total of 1.6 I believe. If you use your planet alot, rely on them then yes its worth it. As I recently found out, it can be much cheaper to increase the size then increase the stat.

I don't know how the other planets work but UP planets are pretty simple
for every 1 click on the upgrade you get the following added to total UP on the planet:
tiny: 1.1
very small: 1.2
small: 1.3
normal: 1.4
above-average: 1.5
large: 1.6
huge: 1.7
monstrous: 1.8
mind blowing: 1.9
so bigger planets get you more UP for every click, but you have to work out when to upgrade the size to get the most bang for your buck.

all the other planets also work the same way, they have some base value on tiny size that gets added on each upgrade, it's different for every type, covert, attack, defense and income
but the multipliers are different than with the up planet
tiny: 1
very small: 2
small: 3
normal: 4
above-average: 5
large: 6
huge: 7
monstrous: 8
mind blowing: 9
80 bil attack planet monsterous => 90 bil attack planet mind blowing

Here is an old thread with the amounts:
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=58660&hilit=planetUsing the cost to increase stats vs the boost in increasing sizes fromt hat thread here are some rough numbers:
UP planets the upgrade makes sense around the 106k mark
106K / 1.8 then * 1.9 = 111,888
on monstrous 111,888 from 106,000 is 1,012,767,020,000 Naq
Strike planet it is around the 60B mark :
60B / 1.2m then * 1.35m
on monstrous 67,500,000,000 from 60,000,000,000 is 996,103,125,000 Naq
Def planet is around the 50B mark:
50b / 960k then * 1.08M
on monstrous 56,250,000,000 from 50,000,000,000 is 1,080,767,415,000 Naq
So that is a rough idea of when the stat bonus increases on monstrous reach the 1T cost range to get the same boost from the increase in size
