Connect my lap top to my Desk top pc tower, I reckon i can do that part on my own...

What i need to do however, is make sure that nothing from my desktop goes into my laptop while i do that (my desktop has ahorrific virus on it ATM), i need to use my lap top yo fix my desktop because i know the laptop is okay, but dont want the laptop contracting the desktops swine flu, i assume i can do that with firewall, And i think that all makes perfect sense, but if somoene could go ahead and tell me if its actually possible to do that, that would be good...

i guess in theory its plausible but if its an horrific PC swine flu then you'd be best off reinstalling windows. i mean if you're not willing to use the compy itself..... then...... yeah.

you could however set up a firewall then use a remote desktop manager from your laptop to your PC to use your laptop as a remote control with a cable so to speak...... whether its worth it or not, thats another issue.... T_T
