whether they wish to appear visible is a personal choice...

We have asked that all 3 be PMed and the first avalible will get to it.

Let me explain why I generaly do not show online. It stems from people who "just want to chat". There is no harm in it and its not that I mind, but it never fails that I am trying to fix something for someone and 3 or 4 people want to "Chat". Not appearing online allows me to prioritise and deal with problems first, and idle chit chat last. To me, doing my job as an admin comes first. Couple this with the fact I have a R/L and a job, and I play 3 game actively. If I appear online then someone who can't take a hint that I'm busy gets offended.

Thats just my stance personally. I always respond to any PM immediately upon login, so if you need me pm me and if im on ill answer.

Its the same reason I rarely go on MSN anymore because I get slammed as soon as I show up as online.

oh, and another point is, We dont get paid for this, so if we dont want to be seen/ deal with someone right then, we shouldnt have too. Like yesterday was my B'day, I got one couple times but didnt post, I shouldnt have to be visible and be made to deal with forum stuff if I dont want to, not on a special day, and not when their are 4 of us.
