Change the 3 hour login?!

I just got logged out..just before 28th May 06:40 game time and seconds before removed 700b...I was logged out, took me a minute to log back in...

Guess what?...I lost the lot!

Maybe a automatic bank or warning? What a ridiculous setting to have.

Also, how do I go about requesting compensation or complaining?

The auto log out is needed as its a step to stop cheaters and scripts, but yes I do 100% back the idea of some type of warning system because the very thing has happened to me, and I had 5 trill out. Luckily I got it before anyone else saw it.

Send a message straight to admin, also contact Dadigi as he is forum liason and he can pass it along.


Maybe it can be coded to have a log in box when you are actually logged in? and you can do a relog to reset the timer while ingame or something? IDK, did that make any sense?

definitely need a warnning, it has logged me out in the middle of turnfarming so i have 100bil sitting out that i was about to click deposit on.

Would not the warning itself serve the same purpose to delay you from banking, etc? Or would it be a not noticeable text on the page, so the Admin has to code it in to every page...?

Just re-log in every hour or so when your not at risk, you have 3 hours to remember to bank and be safe, then re-log in, when your not gonna have all your naquadah or whatever stolen.

I support the suggestion however I don't believe you should get the naq back as you take it out of your bank at your own risk. Who's to say you would not have been hit in the intervening seconds between unbanking it and using it? (Sorry to be a hard ass there)

What I'd really like to know is how you lot manage to spend 3 hours straight on the game. Go out n live life lol.

Maybe a message that pops up on command centre that says something like "And another turn is up, if you are going to make any big transactions, you should consider logging out and log back in again so the cookie won't abandon you."

Personally, I find it astonishing that anyone actually plays SGW for three continuous hours. But that's just me.

If this had happened to me, I'd have been a little peeved too.

But I think the security the 3 hour session limit offers against script and bot cheats is important, and I think a prominent warning would compromise that. I'm no expert, but if you could write a macro to play SGW for you, I'm pretty sure you could rewrite it to a) log you out and in again when the warning appears on the page or b) simply bank/train/spend/broker your Naq away before the session ends.

Just my thoughts.
