Is it just me, or do the great forums of SGW get very little attention from the majority or SGW players? Imagine how big our community would grow if most in-game players used the forums, or were even shown the forums! In my opinion StarGateWars is nothing without the forums, and these forums seem to be crumbling around us.

My solution is VERY simple. All we would need to do is get Jason to send out a global PM to all players, or even just put up a banner in everyone's base, like what is done when a new Chaos Wave occurs, or when a new Quantum-verse opens.. Saying something like, "Be sure to check out the official SGW Forums!"

What do you all think?

i think it would be good if this way or some other way were to get more players on the forums, it helps build the community and help people get to really know each other.

Your idea, Lore, would be excellent though, if it forwarded newbies to proper guides on these boards.

well. I also think forum and game accounts should be linked, because if you recieved ingame reprimands for forum actions alot of "Stuff" on forums would stop.

But that wont happen either.


I think there are many who are more into forums then the game itself, and there are more who are inforums and dont even have an account.

@ RD,,,,I had a long well written way to do it to allow people their main account and 1 or 2 multi accounts so they can still speak about certain things that might get them massed, the id# would only be seen by game admins, and NO other, not even forum admins. But it was shut down cold, not an option.

Yeah it makes sense that that wouldnt go through, kinda problematic.
