Has the Dalai Lama taken some inspiration from Yoda?

One who listens to the Dalai Lama cannot deny he has wisdom. Beyond his years, no matter how old he is. :)

But what struck me was the degeneration of the Lama's English in the past decades.
Where he had at least a marginal correct grammar earlier, he now drops many grammatically important words from his sentences, changes his word order, and seems to rely much more on the interpretation from translators and his audience.
His voice also has become much more.. grating and somewhat high-pitched on occasion.

Reminds you of anyone?
The thread title gave it away.. he's reminiscent of Yoda! Not just in speech, grammar and voice, but also the topics he addresses..

Maybe in recent years, the Dalai Lama took inspiration from Yoda?
Or am I blaspheming?

To close off with a quote from Emperor Sigismund, altered to suit the Dalai Lama;
"Ego sum rex Tibetanorum et super grammaticam" (>_< Tibetanorum.. shoot me.)

It's no blaspheming.. :)

I sort of agree with what you said otherwise.

Forgot something:

And Yoda is a fictional character from scifi books/movies so NO it's not blaspheming! :)

Yoda became one with the Force. he will never die and reincarnate because he never died in the first place, he just faded away :P
