I was just wondering who still plays who was in the original SLA (system lords alliance)
I've only just started playing again after about 2 years, and don't really know many people in the SGW community anymore.
I used to be known as Zip_ac_na and i was first prime to Lord Klorel
Would be cool to see who stil plays

Permit me to move this to StarGateWars General for a while.
You posted in Origins' forums, which is a new server. You'll have more luck in General.
Moved.

I liked the SLA, despite the fact seemed to become the 'punching bag' of the game for a while. It was nice to see an alliance which really encouraged roleplay, and whose forums were full of in-character behaviour and Stargate mythology. For all their faults, and their often poor leadership, I think it's a playing style which few if any alliances have ever managed to replicate. This game was better with people like that in.

If we're lucky this whole "make your own race" thing might inject some life into the ol' RP of TGW...it'd make me happy to see it again...

A member of the Old SLA here. Not sure I remember you or you remember me.
I vaguely remember the Ester (sp?) scandal, Artiglio betrayal and massings, and then a bunch of alliances who would declare war and thought it was awesome that they were beating the **Filtered** out of an already weak alliance. NICE!
Some of the members still play here and there. I quit SLA when I realized that the alliance was going nowhere.
