Now - with races fully customized, what you call them is 100% up to you.

so this means that players could effectually call themselves the "X" as a race name, and members of different alliances could be race "X" making a secondary, some what hidden, alliance of players. Interesting.

and what is to become of the race forums and mods ?

I think the race mods will unite into one group...as for the other one can only imagine.There will also be the problem of offensive race names and players that will say "but i wanted that name and i'm gonna mass you for it!".Or you can just put the same race and stick it into MGM's face!

DOWN WITH THE RACE MODS! DOWN WITH BUDDHA! Y'AR!

We'll see how it goes down, hopefully they can remain with jobs.

As much as a problem that Red Titles, Planets and User names are, so, not a big one at all.

We will, as always, adapt to the new circumstances.

I spoke to Jason regarding to the race mods and he said this will stay the same as he thinks many players will keep the races like Tauri, Goauld, Asgard and all the others. Some people will change race to a more custom race and for that were allready working on some changes.

There is discussion ongoing now to adapt to the new way of life.
