Please do not try to start anything Tetris. We do not want problems in the Market. Especially with the case regarding the post in the Ombudsman Section about signatures, we don't need to try and make a angry riot.

Noobert, im not starting anything, and for you to accuse me of it is sad. I was merly responding to a post Nig made and my post in obudsman corner not being propaganda and I do not want others to think such a thing before posting.

I told you that I agree with what everyone has said and i think the same.

However, this thread comming right now after so many sigs have been "stolen" in the last years made me think that your post had other hidden meaning paired with your ombudsman complaint. That`s all and this is the last thing that i`m going to comment on this matter.

Yes, you are starting something. You are looking for justification in your cause*. Even after Earendil gave him permission to use it, but sided with you anyways you still came and made this thread.

my 2 cents:

alliance sigs - I'm not fussed if alliance sigs are taken and used/distorted..... it has been the case for a while now as a few people have said (not here but elsewhere) with all the TTF/FUALL sigs going around slandering the other blah blah...

personal sigs - I would be aggrevated if someone took my product without asking.

This is the first forum I've been on that doesn't have rules regarding this. So far I've had two of my sigs stolen on this forum, and no real action has been taken in either case. On every forum I've been on so far, which is many (even if you exclude the forums I'm banned from), it's against the rules. It's the same as stealing Naq, UU or Planets ingame after negotiations in the market section. If somebody's argument for taking the resources is that it was a joke (similarly to those copying sigs and markign them up to use them themselves as a joke), wouldn't it still be against the rules regardless? It's uncanny how there can be such a hypocritical position regarding two near-identical issues.

So far most sig makers have been against it, and we are the ones who suffer the consequences of not having action taken. The ones who defend it are the ones who want to be able to steal sigs, even if it's as a joke. If I were to say that stealing naq shouldn't get me on that list in the market section, and my argument was that it was a joke, or that I wanted to steal the naq, that wouldn't hold water, would it?

Even a rule which allows an exception for alliance sigs is better than what we've got now.

I don't think personal vendettas should be a thing supported in the forum, it's probably more a malicious thing than joke sigs between alliances more often than not.

the only rules that actualy aply to signatures on this forum are:

there are no other rules made up for the forum wich have been anounced for this forum. so this information you are gathering tetris will not hold up in the ombudsman section becausse we look @ the rules of the forum. perhaps it is wiser to loby to the admins to write new rules for signatures.

You contacted me about a personal sig being stolen during a sig request topic, and used by the . requester without paying.

I spent some time talking to other mods and the market section leader on Exactly where we stood on this. Granted, you solved that particular incident yourself with some well spoken pm's, but I resent the implication I did nothing to help you.

Especially as I made it quite clear I would support you in the same way in the future.

Yes, I thank you Caprilla because you did help on the issue last time. I apologize for implying that nothing was done, because attempts [b]were[/b made to help. You have always been a great help (in my opinion the most helpful mod on the forum, at least in my own experience), but in the end there was really no change in the way the forum responds to these incidents.

I didn't hear from any other mods, no changes to the rules were made, and the person got away scot-free. On any other forum he would have been subjected to a fair trial with mods, and if it was intentional then he would have to face the punishment (which is usually a week-long suspension, a permanent ban, or a suspension with a warning for first-time offenders).
