Is it going to happen?
Will N. Koera let loose the nukes?
Who is going to be on what side....
Is this the beginning of a "1984"?

Oh I'm sure it will eventually, and I'm sure humanity as we know it will be wiped off the face of the Earth too
I wish humans would just.. "grow the hell up" sometimes

That's a little.. jumpy.

Ridding US of the Fed won't cure the world.. sick to the core, rotten at heart and technically doomed to die before we can jumpstart the human race.
Nature calls! Time to go out with a .. sizzle.

the problem with the fed is that those banksters who have the controlling interest in the fed are also behind the global problems. get rid of the fed and we start to unravel this international web the banksters have built...they ARE the root cause of all our global and political problems, and there power base is the central bank system.
both WW1 and WW2 were orchestrated by these people...so has every war for the past 400 years...why would WW3 be any different?

I say that WW3 wont happen because they are scared because they know that if they lunch we lunch our nukes and then no one could live on the earth for the next 100 - 200 years.
Anyway all wars have one real reason behind them.
WW1 had 7 reason.
The first one is the Franco-Prussian war. During the Franco Prussian war France lost Alsace-Lorraine to Prussia (Germany). With the loss of their land, tension was created. The second cause was the alliance systems. When the triple entente and triple alliance were created, all of the countries were trying to build up a stronger power against each other. The third cause was the Balkan Powder Keg. The Balkans were in an area that other countries wanted but they believed that if something happened there, the countries would erupt in war. The fourth cause of WWI was imperialism. All of the countries were fighting over land in Africa to increase their nationalism. Nationalism is the fifth cause of WWI. People had so much nationalism that when the war was announced everyone was signing up to be included in it. This also led to the Arms race which is the sixth cause. The Arms Race was where all of the countries were building up their military. No country wanted to be behind another country in militarism. Then the Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand occurred, which is the last cause of WWI. When he was killed by a Serbian, the Balkans were outraged and sparked the war to start. By the time that the Archduke was assassinated, the world was just looking for an excuse to start the war.
WW2
From the German perspective, it seems that WW2 was a long-time waiting, shock to the world. Suddenly, Germany had declared that it was being attacked by Poland (which could barely field a cavalry from the 1800s let alone an army from the 1900s) and was soon overwhelmed by German forces.
This has often been the version of history presented to the public...an agressive Germany, seeking to expand her Empire.
But was the reason more of constraint than of lust for power?
Reading the 1939 Times Magazine explaining the "Man of the Year" in 1938...I'd have to say it is the former.
By 1938, projections were that Germany was on the verge of collapse. Their Economy was falling apart, and spiraling out of control.
Exchange command economy was reducing the standard of living of Germans and her neighbors relying on her trade (that was the economic reform that brought them out of the depression, trade machine parts and finished products for raw resources from Eastern European nations).
German agriculture was falling steadily behind, while they began more and more to collectivize farming (very socialistic).
Businesses fell more and more under control of the State.
And as the magizine stated: "More guns and tanks are produced and less butter".
Is it not so much that Germany wanted to go to war in 1938, but needed to go to war in 1939 ... or else lose all ability to wage an aggressive war?!
To those who watched the closing events of the year it seemed more than probable that the Man of 1938 may make 1939 a year to be remembered.
i say what ever the reason behind a war if its a world war or a gulf or just any war its all about power eveyone wonts power and to control as much land.
the end

No. Even if North Korea used their two nukes, they would then be vaporized and that would be the end of it all. As it stands, NK's allies are even turning against them, if they did something so foolish they would have no one left and it would be open season for NK.

I don't think it's very likely, to be honest. And even if it were to happen, I don't think it'd be in any of our lifetimes. The nature of warfare changed forever on August 6 1945, and as someone has rightly pointed out there is now a general reluctance amongst superpowers to go 'all out' in terms of launching their artillery. Military strength has more of a point than a purpose nowadays, and the real wars between superpowers for control of the world as fought in terms of economics and political influence over developing second and third world states. Most of the fighting which goes in revolves around 'small arms', and is on too small and diverse a scale to affect the world majorly or mushroom into a global conflict.

NK doesn't even have food for their own people and you think they will start WW3?Also the fed guys don't want war...just crisis and further investments by virtually all people.Credit cards and electronic pay for all, free of...*ironic look*.WW3 seems more like terrorism than deliberate decision to me.Who would want to retaliate or strike the first blow to what would end human kind?I think maybe some extremists or an all out civil war...

According to one of Nostradarmus' premonitions as soon as the republican party lost power in USA it would leader to WW3 breaking out in the east which would begin the apocalypse.
This, of course is one interpretation of his predictions...but I read it about two years back so it's not exactly been doctored to suit the current political climate.

Exactly. There'll probably be a WW4 too, with even bigger and badder nukes.
SuperSaiyan wrote:most people would surprised at all the different predictions that are interpreted from his poems
That's because people generally look at things to see what they want, rather then looking at things to see what's actually there. Humans are silly like that.
