Since the global logs are so revealing, with minimal effort anyone can now investigate those instances of tab farming. You know what that it, right?
You patiently wait for that split second RIGHT after the next turn begins to try to get that biggest naq hit and when the battle report pops up . . .

Rats, missed that one, but that's OK, I'll get the next one. Then you wonder what the heck is going on as you go from one to the next to the next, only to see all 0's, or only a few million Naq at each player.

That's because SOMEONE who doesn't like to play on an even playing field has programmed some sort of macro into their browser so that all they have to do is press 1 button to attack all of their pre-programmed targets at the speed of light! Yep, the only limitation will be the speed of their ISP and Kingdom Games' server.

And perhaps some would argue that there is not a rule against this either, but as a naive newbie, I would think that there should be. To me it seems totally unfair to the people playing with just one window open at a time and going from screen to screen as a reasonable person would normally think the game is supposed to be played.

And if it's not a cheat why haven't any of our cheating friends written a forum article to brag about their cheating ways? These jerks who might insist that it's legal could entitle their posts, 'Best way to tab farm' or 'How to program your browser macros.', if they really believed it was legal.

And of course, it comes as no surprise to me that the very first person I see using this cheating method of getting an unfair advantage at any cost is no other than our alliance bank-stabber, Akhal.

So Akhal, you will be proud that I share with everyone that you managed to hit -- 39 -- different players all within a single minute. For the math challenged, that means you were able to hit 1 per 1.53 seconds.

So either you have a Cray supercomputer in your office with a T1 connection, or perhaps you are a borg with same TI hooked into you ear? Either way, you should be so proud of how you are able to get an unfair advantage on all of us normal people, once again. Congratulations, you have my vote for biggest cheater with least character in all of the Q-Verse.

Go ahead and be proud. Tell us all how you do it! Oh wait, what would YOU BE without an unfair advantage?

Some people just don't understand that games are meant to provide challenges for us to measure ourselves against our peers. Cheating to create unfair advantages just deprives us all of that opportunity.

Thats slow farming for tab farming actually and yes he does have over 40 mbps at his home.

And tab farming isnt cheating it's opening internet explorer or Fire Fox and left click on player name and put open in new tab then you set them all up in other words click attack button and type in 12 in EACH window which can take up to 20 minutes

I can attack over 100 times in a minute, even on dial up. Now that im on High Speed as of today im sure I can attack alot more per minute..

Im sorry but it's not suprising at all, and all your post did was make you look like an ass

39 in a minute isn't special... As Kikaz said, over 100 is probably closer to the record. Well, my record anyway. It takes a long time to prepare.. And has drawbacks, but tab farming is the best way of hitting loads of targets in a short space of time, ie. After the turn change.

As to why there's no post about it.. It's a tactic.. And a damn useful one.. But if every1 did it, it be harder for me to get the naq. I have talked many people through it on MSN, but not announced it to general public.

But now that it's out, we should see who can hit the most different targets in same minute xD
I'll be gone for a week, so you all have that long to set the bar, before I return and raise it xP

I need approx 0,5sec for each player to tab farm so Akhal's "extraordionary cheating" isn't fast at all, heck had he been cheating he could attack almost infinite number of players in 1 minute...I only use tab farming for my 'every-turn farms', not for anything else because there's a fatal flaw in it which I'm too lazy to check it out every time before turn change to avoid it..You haven't been around for long enough to know how things work here, obviously.
With your forum posts I also am being less and less surprised by actions Akhal has done towards you as the hostility you're showing both against him and against Owned. is just..unacceptable. Accusing someone of being cheater without any proof, solely because you think it isn't fair tactic as it beats yours..it isn't a good thing to do..

yes agreed with what jack said...whatever...all of newbies have to learn : )
it takes around 1 minute to set up 15 tabs maybe and i don't close those tabs after farming...that's without using a mouse
that's why you see people like me, or nowadays jack, who gets all the good farms when online...
most of the people who tab like that have played a lot...s1eepy does it...kikaz does it...most of the top 10 do it...

I think it should be fairly easy to determine if someone is actually using external methods to farm.

If average click is 0.5 secs then ie. 40 hits ..that last couple of hits should have been farmed 15-20 seconds after game turn.

Most of us have worked turn-farming out to the last second. Just pick your targets and calculate how fast you did it. If you didn't get the Naq, go check who did and how many targets did he/she attack before that specific target.

Seriously, if you took like 1-2 seconds after turn and someone else got it who hit that same player far down his/her hit list (ie. 20th person) then it's quite clear something isn't right.

as for kikaz, nope i just don't see you doing 100 per min on dial up, 20-30 mabye.

If your hand eye is really good, you can get a delay of .3-.4 seconds per tab, having tested this out a number of time, normally if it's desired it has been done that 250 farms are done in about 2;45 seconds. But you hands and your eyes really do start to hurt, so not looking forward to the 100k turns i need to farm.

i've been trying the delay thing...and it really hurts after a few turns of farming...
i am dizzy now from vodka and Q

i could probably do it .4 secs if my PC didnt freeze up

it just takes long to prepare

My record on dial up was 112 in a minute actually.

Now that I have high speed I have yet to test it.

It's not that hard to pull off big numbers in a minute (Tab + Enter) (Tab + Enter) (Tab + Enter)

Is all you need to click once it's set up..

Anyways kikaz you use firefox 5?
Its quite faster then the previous one so maybe others who think you cant do it that fast should try the newest version.

IE8 literally freezes for up to 30seconds when I middle mouse click a link to open a new tab.

FireFox is definately the way to go.
