I like smilies....makes it much clearer what you are trying to convey.... I find people often take comments the wrong way, resulting in unnecseeary hostility (hhhmmmmm)

It could also spike SGW's bandwidth usage though
Just had a shower, and some new thoughts on this...
tbh I agree that smilies... 'enhance' conversations? But I feel they aren't really needed unless admin agrees to actually have a fully functioning PM system, kinda like phpBB's

Well I think the base smilies are enough for an ingame pm system. I mainly worry about the lag, lord knows we dont want to get back into the 2/3 minute lag again.
