No not me :(

I've just contacted NHS Direct and am waiting for a call back in the next hour amid concern that I may have Swine Flu.
I guess I'll know more in the next few hours.
Reasons why..... since returning from the States i've been suffering from a sudden cough which I still have. I never suffer from coughing, if I did then it wouldn't concern me. I have a slight sniffly nose too.
But there are 2 "typical" symptoms of Swine Flu:
sudden fever
sudden cough
Now have to wait for that phone call.

Didn't really occur to me until today when everyone at work said swine flu every time I coughed. That pushed me in to looking it up in more detail online!

Yeah i wouldnt worry, its not even as bad as normal flu, Its just very very very easy to contract because your hearding immunity isnt in effect as its a new thing. Your not old and your not super young, So you'l be fine.

Exactly what the Doctor said to me when I showed up in hospital last week with the most epic flu.

The girl said that as I haven't had a\ temperature or a fever it is unlikely to be flu, but I have to keep an eye on it.
Looks like I won't be getting out of work for a few days.

They said here that it also induces pneumonia and intestinal bleeding.. things a regular flu doesn't usually do.

Plus diabetes has been known to be an underlying complication that has caused death with swine flu suffers. So it's always best to check these things out.

I know people who had Swine Flu (people I could've/probably easily caught it from) then I had some sort of Flu, it probably wasn't as bad as even the regular Flu but it lasted a week or more. Dunno if I had the Swine Flu but I had something bad and there is a chance I did... Probably didn't though

Actually it's more of a violent coughing. Which I still have.
