I don't care wat you want to debate about on this on

the subject americans are idiots

the swastica being good or evil

hatrid in america

those were three topics being brought up in the forum and you guys asked for it so i made it i love to debate and hope it doesn't get out of control because these are some very touchy subject but i saw the god debate if we can debate about the likes of god civily we can debate about this

with that said i request being the author of this post this stays respectful

EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO BELIEVE WAT THEY WOULD LIKE AND BY NO MEANS IS IT OKAY TO BE DISRESPECTFUL TO ANYONE ON HERE

if you can't respect it i will ask a mod to take you out of this post






with all that said my first view i am an american so obvioiusly i don't think we are ignorant

my second view is that the swastica... the symbol was once peace and it is not seen that way anymore

and third haterid is a fact in america and it kills

i meant about those issues lol

i don't know if i would say Idiots lol

i feel the word arrogent fits far better

i must agree but on the other subjects wat are your views (while we wait for others i'm sure they will come)

1, ignorance by choice makes idiots of everyone, regardless of nationality....IMHO of course

2. the swastika?! hmmm...that's a tough one! personally, the swastika has been usurped by the FAAAAAR right and any meaning it had from before the Bush's i mean, Nazi's got there hands on it is lost to western eyes.

3, the world is more full of hatred now than at any time in history. hatred is directed in every direction where as before, an individual might have hatred for say, an occupying army or corrupt kings/queens/officials. now hatred is simply everywhere and without any direction or course...we just love to hate!

1. i wouldn't say americans are idiots but they do seem more prone to making stupid and rediculous decisions, and actions than other people. as for why i don't think anyone can really say, perhaps it is culture, or their sometimes ott religious beliefs, or strong political views.... i don't know.

2. the swastica is not the same as the original symbol and was NOT used for the same purpose, therefore it cannot be compared to the original. that said the swastica itself is not evil it just represents evil.

3. there is a LOT more homophobic hatred in america than in most other countries, and hatred towards blacks is worse than in a lot of places. on the whole it is probably getting worse, especially now that america become even more god concious since 9/11 and the nation as a whole barely trust other religions now.

i am british and so my view could be clouded but i think it is reasonably clear, more so on some matters than others though i expect

age doesn't matter lol america was founded for freedom and it's probably one of the least towards freedom... i agree with wat was said about the ignornace and the swasitka i posted this debate becasue of the sig thread and there was alot of debates in there i wish it could be debated here more but most the of the comments on here i agree with so there goes my debating ha ha ha

I disagree, Americans are no more stupid or ignorant than anyone else, including the Brits. People just like to talk about our stupidity more.

Which seems to be suggesting that PoD was correct in his usage of the Swastika.

Homophobia? Maybe, but this "more hatred towards blacks" idea makes me laugh. If anyone is racist in America, it's the blacks. I mean, I bet you can't guess the color of the last lynch mob in Texas. Xenophobia and racism is definitely a much larger issue in the UK than in America, what with large lynch mobs chasing entire communities from their homes. That doesn't happen here, our racists have a loud bark and no bite. But that's not really something the media likes to talk about, it's easier to hate on America. Just like the media would have you to believe the south is the most racist part of America. It's all bullcrap. With blacks, they have such a sense of entitlement, that in their mind if it does not favor them then it must be racist. The real issue now is groups like the NAACP creating divides in the community and things like "affirmative action" causing crap like this.

there is truth in what i say but also truth in what you say, maybe more in what you say but like i said i'm not american so i could be wrong

1. People in general are idiots, this isnt limited to Americans only.

2. The Swastika, in essence, is a positive symbol. It just was the defamation that we are indoctrinated to that makes it bad. It was also how it was used.

3. Hatred is not limited to America, the question is there more hatred now than ever before cannot be answered .

1 americans are i would say arrogant ignorant and most of all very forgetfull look at ww1 we gave them all the money we were the richest empire in the world britain and we saved the americans on more than one occasion and the best of it is they think they saved us lol

and how do they repay us now they shoot our soldiers in afgan and iraq with so called friendly fire

2 the swastika is potraid these days with all the remonisions of what hittler done in all the camps and with the ss so it is no look as a thing of evil which i dont agree on after all it was a flag that they adopted

3 hate is every where in the world its somthing you cant get away from and with all the alcohol and drugs just fuels that problem
