Recently, meaning 4 days of **Filtered** torture, my internet has been having problems and it seems my internet company doesn't have a damn clue so I figured why not ask people on here to see if I can't fix it with their help.

The problems:
- Sometimes my internet is acting slow, others not.
- Streaming of videos/anime is very bad, it runs about 1/4th of the bar (or sometimes even less) and stops. Usually a video would buffer itself when it gets there, but for some reason it doesn't. Normally, my videos stream perfectly without a hitch.
- MSN Messanger signs in and out every 2 minutes like my internet is cutting out.
- No effects what so ever on online games like XBOX, Starcraft, etc except the occasional lag out as host on XBOX.
- No effects on downloading, still download the same speed with no problems.

I've unplugged the router/modem, replugged it all in, changed power bars (the company suggested it due to a possible power blockage), and done everything imaginable that I could think of to fix this. Nothing has helped. I'm on the verge of going on a axe murdering spree to my internet company as it has made it next to impossible for me to do anything computer related.

If you have any idea, I'm willing to try it because I really don't want to go to prison for the rest of my life.

OMG! Same thing is happening to me!

At first glance I would say someone is using all your Bandwith but since you said only some things are affected (Xbox, etc, isn't) then I don't know

Still looking for any help regarding this.

Is your internet Wireless?

If it is then someone in your neighbourhood is using your internet or has hacked into ur internet.

U must see if it is secured.

i had the same problems when i lived in south africa

have you got a wirless modem? i mean you can connect a laptop and walk arround ?

it could be a hardware problem as i had a few problems mine wasnt fully installed and youtube videos and thing messed up the same way as yours is hmm

difficult to say but ill keep thinking on it

Hmm noobert have you tried using your Bankai? i know being the 10th seat of the 4th squad may be the cause of your n00bness and your possible inability to actually use the Bankai... maybe use your shikai??? Is a good problem solver..

But really, if its wireless yeah check if others are using it... i know when wireless flickers off, it is basically the equiv of a D/C and it stops your streaming where it is

yeah my wireless use to do that in south africa even if it dc,d for a milisecond alot of thing stopped slowed down or sometime it lost signal to the isp or the signal slowed down

No. I am not using wireless, I am directly connected to the router which is connected to the modem which is plugged into my wall directly.

My brother is having the same problems as myself, but on a wireless laptop.

So as you can see, there are to many problems for it just to be my computer.

Try killing router for some time.By the looks of it someone is using your wireless connection(similar thing I saw in phone store,but they had a wireless without any password set).
Anyhow try using just your modem for a day or so see how that goes.

Well my router uses Wireless and LAN connection and it still now and then ****s up my internet but all i did was ask for a new one and its now fine.

If u got a new one and your internet isn't different just get the company to wipe ur computer and Redo the internet Files on ur computer and it should work perfectly.

Ps most Routers use LAN and Wireless and most are unsecure so like everyone can hack into it easily.
And take ur cap making you have no internet.

new viruses HAcks into ur Internet and sends Incriped messages to all the ppl in your E-amil and anyone that u have sent a message to and that takes ur cap and it constantily wants you to connect to the internet to download the latest Virises it took me like 2 weeks to Kill it.

Be careful what u download (Porn is the worst never download anything direct unless it looks legit.)

My question is this though. Why does it effect my computer which is directly hooked up to the router and it effects the wireless at same time?

I unplugged the router, no power on it..so it's not running. No change in anything. My streaming still stalls, and all of the above still is happening..

I cannot kill the router either..even if I wanted to, so I just tried it fast with no changes. If I kill the router, I will have 4 other people in my home up my ass **Filtered** and moaning for the entire day..and it's not worth it. -_-;

ok internet's are connected to phone lines correct maby phone the company that hooks up your phone boxes on the wall and get em to change the box 4 u i have had the same problem and it worked perfectly after that.
