I'm sure I read somewhere that when you reach Ancient God you can ascend every 10 days as opposed to 14 but I can't find this anywhere... does anyone know if this is the case?

No it's always 14 days.

I know it is 14 days as I ascended with 1 minute left before the "new" week started for the game.

This was actually 9 minutes past when I last ascended and thought I calculated the time wrong so I was touching cloth for a few minutes until I got the ascend button.

As this title can be taken another way I would like to ask, is there a time period from starting the game with a new account and working to ascend that anyone would recommend?

I have been at it for almost a week now and am wondering what to work on next.....

Ascension? Unit Production? Mothership? Planets?

From what I read on the market screen I can get Supporter Status through ascending and from reading the forum I see that most people here grow faster with Supporter Status.....

once you get 1k glory, you can trade it for full supporter status without ascending, which is imo the best option because this way you wont lose everything when ascending. as for whih things to work on, i personally reccomend mothership volleys and shields because they arent lost when ascending.

Cjl is right, it is important to get Supporter Status before Ascending.

What this means is you have full access to the broker system. You can broker someone the majority of your uu and naq, and have them reject post ascension.. meaning you only lose the exact 'costs', rather than everyting each time, which is what used to happen.

I always used to insist to my officers they gain at least 5mil between each ascension, to help with income, bank size & rebuilding. 5mil before prior, 10mil before prophet, 15mil befoer messiah. Etc etc

It is up to you, but I don't think you should ascend before 5-10mil uu armysize, and plenty of naq to rebuild with.

I have been raiding with all my turns (and the ones that some people have sent me) which has allowed me to hit 14 mil army presently.

I will work on getting rank for glory then, does anyone know what rank it starts counting?

You can ascend with 5million lifers up to AG since you get Naq and UU for each ascession, just will need to do them slowly with 1gnr per turn

1380 i think
it is top 2% of ranks for 1 glory a turn
138 is to get 5 glory a turn(0.2%)
rank 1 is 10 glory a turn.

wow 14mill in your 1st week.... The times they are a changing...

Just remember, weps cost 4 times as much for a Prior than an unascended, so save a lazy trillion or so to get you off to a decent start after you ascend.

Yeah, had some very cool people around here send me naquadah and turns to help get me started and I figured the best thing to do was farm for Unit Pro and raid for troops.

Found a quite a few accounts with no stats and almost a million untrained, lol.

how long would it take to accumulate 1000 G&R points? Assuming u dnt fall out of the 2% quota every now and then.. according to my calculations its approx 20 days.. correct?
