So I have just been set to war by some guy that only shows ????? when I try to look at him and will not answer my PM as to why he set me to war, what should I do now?

He's proabably set you to war to add you to his farm list.

Unless he starts massing you, he has just done it to get the maximum haul of Naq from attacking you.

Even after only 7 or 8 months of playing I reckon I've had 100 war declarations against me. You'll eventually learn that finding a war declaration in your inbox raises your worry level to "Not Particularly Bothered".

i've gotten like 5 in the past two months and well over 100 peace treaties?

ive had like 3 peace and no war since i started my acc 30 odd days ago

Don't get me wrong... I've probably had >2x peace for every war. It's just that occasionally a farm (or even someone I hit just once) will declare war back on me. I also used to be a tempting farm target, so I used to get quite a few people declare war and hit me for 25b+ Naq while I slept. They usually either leave it and hit me again whenever I'm Slaq with my Naq, or set me to neutral again in the future.

Of the 24 people that currently have war declarations on me, I see only 4 in my attack logs regularly.

Actually it appears that blackmail is the goal.
He wants me to send him 2k turns for him not to farm me constantly, too bad I have only been here a week and cannot transfer anything, lol.

ignore him... or ask around on the forums what people think of blackmailers...

Never give in to extortion. Post up the ID, I'm sure many (including me) will happily destroy extortionists.

Lol.... we might need to start an "Extortionists" section..... for people who want someone to mass for fun.
