I went to see Metallica a while back and The Sword and machine head were supporting. I gotta say, live they wern't so good. On CD they are, ok-ish. I didn't like them live though. Then again the main act was Metallica and even you must admit, thats one hell of a act to beat! I remember him doing the call to arms chant... that was pretty damn nice. The Sword kind of butchered the night though, they sucked and after that every one couldn't be bothered with Machinehead or the Sword -- every one just wanted tallica!!!

Video from YouTube of the gig i was at! if you wait until the "LandMine" section it goes amazing! Fire coming from the ground, coffins coming down from the roof and the crowd went ape poop. Epic night!!!

I saw machine head live with slipknot and after bodom "butchered " the night i still thought they were amazing .

Also, i don't particularly rate metallica. They are definately overrated. Though they are still a half decent band, they are not amazing.
