How to trade 1001 GnR to SS status?

Hi,
I already have 1001 GnR, how can I trade it for SS? I am in perg.
Also, by trading it for SS, would I lose my resources similar when ascending?

just a guess on this one, but maybe there is an option in the market place? and i do not believe that you would lose your resources
