May I ask...

What is with the ridiculous amount of signature art for some users? Most forums usually restrict these things to one image and text if you are lucky. I have one particular user with 3 large signatures, then 2 quotes and then some more text to finish it off amounting for a signature display longer than 2 or 3 of your average posts.

I am all for expressing yourself, but seriously.

sig rules have been here before, but there are no specific rules currently... there may come some rules in the future... does that answer your question?

Normally I don't mind too much as long as it doesn't occupy a screen's worth of space or more.. At that point I just start image filtering

Indeed :-D

Should be able to find a decent one that fits your needs after a few minutes of browsing download.com

So unless you utilize image blocking tools, it is something we are all going to have to live with?

Also, excuse me for not finding another thread relative to the subject.

Well, before I realized my add-on for IE could filter stuff, I just sent said person a nice PM asking them to cut their sig down a bit, because it stretches my screen

my sig is a bit long however there are plenty that are much much longer to the point where it is ridiculously pathetic and has no point whatsoever.......

however DD if you are using firefox you can just right click and block said image no add-ons necessary and really just a simple solution

Go to User Control Panel -->Board preferences --> Edit display options

then find the: Display signatures: change it to NO

hope this helps,

If anyone knows how to make siggies into one that alternates the images I wouldnt mind doing that.. I've had to give up some memorable quotes to make room for siggies :(

Jack can, where with each new page load, a random sig is loaded. :)
