just on farming round and found 2 guys that have over 1 tril naq open ...

1 has 5.7tril defense, the other one has 6.3tril defense

both have very small amount of untrained units, 97k and 32k

why do they keep that much naq open ? not like they haven't been on .. when they trained their units, why did they not bank ?

the love to see blind farmers smash against their defenses ?
they are waiting to get mass farmed ?
they just want to show off ?

I pick options 1 and 3, and 2 is the option that should be happening because of it

Maybe they are waiting for someone to attempt to take it so then they have a target to hit?
I dunno, maybe they had been on recently, trained their uu, set a trade, logged off, then the other person in the trade accepted and the naq went in open... like I said I dunno, just guessing really.

My experience shows that they are usually upset when the defense gets massed down.

I think they kinda underestimate the fact that some might get upset when they bounce off their defense the first time


And honestly, a 5-6 tril defense is not much nowadays ... someone with a say 700 bil strike, a nice MS and a good planet setup could take it down easily with reasonable losses.

Im with Clarkey on this one, i think they were either setting up a trade or just had one accepted and naq went into open.
If they really wanted to start a war, they would have just done it.
And like Deni said a 5trill defence is easily taken if you have a decent strike/ms.

So did you take it anyway?

I say option 2 and 3. Players think cause they have a big Def that their Naquadah is safe. That just makes me wanna build my strike higher to steal it. Then I just wait to see if they complain.

Then that would be arrogance. Purely because of the fact they had under 100k uu out.
Why log on shortly before your ppt ends, train some uu, leave your naq out, then log off and end up missing the ppt.

id say just mass them. i could understand 400-500 k uu out and a missed ppt. but low trained units and trill out needs a beating.

I would say if they are just trying to show off, then it will be an expensive act on there part. Many have strikes big enough to take it and come away quids in (or should i say naq.)

3. noobism.

maybe they have a large income in comparision to the UP, say they make 2tril a day, which is about 30bil a turn. And have a rubbish UP say <100k up. They go to bed wake up probaly with 1 tril+ out and 50k uu then you think they have trained they're uu where as they havent been on for a while. These days a 30bil income is pretty easily achieved

then again if they are ascending then keeping a low UP is not really noobism so its not really (3) either.
