JohnnyHotsauce wrote:What are these "Planets"?
You can have up to 10 planets, there are 5 types; Attack, Defense, Income, Unit Production, Covert/Anti-Covert. They add up to 50% bonus to your raw stat so if you for example your Unit Production was 100,000 and you had a 60,000 UP planet it would add 50,000 UP to your total. There are also "Dual" planets which is one planet but adds two bonuses, for example an Attack/Defense Dual, you upgrade each stat on the planet separately (The only type of Dual that doesn't exist is an Income/UP Dual). You can also add defenses to your planets to a maximum depending on the size to defend against other people stealing your planets.
Planet size can be upgraded for Naq the good side of upgrading is it's cheaper to upgrade your planets stat bonus, but it costs more to put defenses on the planets. A give and take.
Also you can add days of "MPDSD" to your planets which makes them invisible to everyone but yourself, protecting them, they still act normally and add a bonus but cannot be stolen as long as you have days of MPDSD active on it. You can get MPDSD by buying Supporter Packages with $$$, Ascending, or using your Market Turns to trade for some, 1 MT for 3 days.
Lastly... you can attach "Beacons" to your planets so that if someone steals it, at a later time you can activate said beacon and it's location will be revealed to you so that you may re-take it. If it's in space (abandoned) then I believe sending your MS out will find that planet after activating the beacon, not 100% on that one though. You can add as many beacons as you want to a planet there is no limit.
JohnnyHotsauce wrote:How do I get one?
You can get a Planet by stealing one from another person using the "Conquer Planet" option from their page and choosing the planet you wish to attack, your Fleet Power must be greater than their defensive power for you to steal it, but you can mass their defenses down if your fleets are weaker. You can also trade MT's for a planet, it will be small and not very good though. Thirdly you can send your Mothership out to search for an abandoned planet, the planet could be very good or very bad, it depends. You can send your Mothership out every 24 hours, but it won't find a planet every trip. Lastly you can pay $50 and buy a Dual planet from the in-game Market.
JohnnyHotsauce wrote:I just bought a platform, what does it do?
You can add defenses to your Platform and attach it to a planet you want it to orbit and defend. Most of the time this is much cheaper than adding the defenses to the planet, and can surprise any person attacking the planet because it won't show the Platform orbiting the planet when they spy you. They can be massed down normally like planet defenses, you should really only use one on a Planet you wish to keep, you only get 3. They can be rebuilt and such.
JohnnyHotsauce wrote:What is this "Pergatory" and why is it spelled like that?
You'd have to ask Jason, game creator, about the spelling. Pergatory is an alternate realm you can "shift" in to, there are many less active players, use of ATs is limited and many other functions are not available. Upon entrance all your ATs are converted to UU/Naq (can't really remember specifics here) and it costs a certain amount to leave and enter, so if you go in it takes a few days of AT generation to leave again. Also you have to be under a certain size to enter, I think about 40mil, and once you reach a certain size you must leave, about 50-60mil I think.
It was made for smaller players to go in and grow without the huge army sized players attacking them and making it hard for them to grow. In my and most other peoples opinions, it sucks.
JohnnyHotsauce wrote:What are those 3 icons next to players names supposed to do for me?
They are quick attack buttons so instead of clicking a persons name you can just click a button and you will, in order of the buttons from left to right, Spy (with all your trained spies), Attack (with full 15 AT), or Raid (with full 15 AT).
JohnnyHotsauce wrote:I sent my mothership...somewhere, I guess...what is it doing?
I addressed that earlier in my post, it is searching for an abandoned planet out in space.
JohnnyHotsauce wrote:What will happen when it comes back?
It will either bring a planet back with it which is then yours, or it will not.
JohnnyHotsauce wrote:If I add a cowpusher to my vehicle, will my insurance go up or down?
It will definitely remain stagnant.
Phew, I hope that answers all your questions posted, if not feel free to ask more and I am sure someone will answer them, as will I try to.
