well, i like how forum has limited the ppt and stuff, but i beleive it would very much rock if there was just like 1-2 ppt's per month, i meen, you dont need it more then that...if you are getting massed, go on vacation...dont constantly use ppt to get ranks and such too....

Why not? My opinion is that if you are using PPT more than a couple of times a month, then you're not really PLAYING the game are you.

Indeed. I have had a total of 3 PPT's since I started playing this game in early Feb. The first when I got SS and the other 2 for ascending and reascending.

If you know how to play this game then you don't need more than, at most, 1 PPT a month, and even then most months you wouldn't use it.

I may be mistaken, but I believe the 2 PPT's a week rule either doesn't work, or hasn't been implemented yet. I've been watching a couple of users, one of whom I'm sure has been on PPT for a lot more than 4 consecutive days.

Actually if you time it right, yo ucan be on PPT techincally for 8 days straight

Since the market week resests at one am Pacific Time (Game Time) on Monday, here i show oyu do it:

Thursday 1 am (go on PPT)
Saturday 1 am (go back on PPT)
Monday 1 am (go on PPT again) (week reset)
Wednesday 1 am (go on final PPT)

Its a way to get 4 PPTs in a row

Even then, this guy has been on PPT longer than that. I don't know how he does it, but he does.

Sleip's right - I've seen some people on PPT constantly - I haven't checked yet - can you still buy PPT for someone else? if so, is that included in the weekly limit?

There is a limit, though, of supporting and/or trading (see the marketplace) to a maximum of 3 times per calendar week, and a total of 8 bonuses that provide protected planet treaty applications (PPT) per calander month.
You have used 3 trades and/or donations this week.
You have used 0 PPT bonuses this month.

There is a limit of 3 donations&trades per week and 8 PPT per month for any one player, to ensure the game is fair to all. We thank you for your support in reaching that limit!
The 'week' renews after the last turn is given out during the 00:00 hour on Mondays.

However - I could not find a link to actually pay for the PPT ($10) there - nor could I find one in the market.

I don't agree with this... merely for the fact that this would take away the advantage that it provides ... like getting your next spy lvls...

Rubbish!

I bought Spy Level 19 without using PPT. The only reason i got 20 on PPt was because it was a free ascension PPT.

The point is - being on PPT is part of the game - but it isn't playing the game - how are you actually playing the game if you just sit behind PPT to accumulate naq, buy spy levels and improve your forces? You're not.

Additionally - there IS supposed to be a limit of 8 PPTs per person per month - and as Sleip and I have already suggested - this does not seem to be working. Even if it was - you DO NOT NEED 16 days of PPT per month.

i got lvl 20, from using the market by selling all my strike weapons and loads of troops had over 2bil out for 30sec doing all that and still came up 100K short, so sold 1 defense weapon

my point is that u don't need PPT to get spy lvls, if u want a higher spy lvl sacrifice weapons or troops.

My upgrade page shows buttons for doing the $10/$20/$50 upgrades, and I haven't used up all my trades yet.

I neglected to read the and/or bit!

Anyway - I notice lots of people voting no to the suggestion of reducing the number of PPTs - but I don't see them posting any arguments as why they are voting against it?

Possibly because there are none.

If you know how to play you know how to take positive advantage of more than 1 PPT a month.

If you are not using all possible PPTs then you are wasting an available resource and are not as an effective player as possible.
