First of all I`d like to apologize to the mods if this is the incorrect section to post this.

Anyway to get to the point : yesterday I was browsing the internet and a background download started. Shorty after that I was infested with 2-3 keyloggers and some trojans.
My computer got blocked in an instant, thanks to the keyloggers I lost everything password-related , from my email, old WoW account, aol, many accounts from different forums and of course my gatewars login details have been altered so basically I lost my account this way. I tried logging at a friend`s place and it would not let me(no, I`m sure my details were correct, I had them written on a piece of paper)
I dont even know if my account exists anymore, I never got the check that (1917903 if someone could look, my last army size was 77 mill)

I am wondering if there is any way to get my details back and (if) what kind of proof must I provide ?

Sorry for posting this 1 day after it happened, I had the spend the whole day formatting and reinstalling windows for a fresh start.

Well..... your account (1917903) is still there. I would say, email admin as soon as possible at urgent@stargatewars.com (or urgent@gatewars.com, not sure.... just send it to both).

Tell them any detail you think they might need to know. It might help if you send the email from the mail account you used to sign up to SGW. It goes a long way to proving your ownership of the account.

Doomgiver, one thing... Remember who sold you that account. Account was named Lumpy. We both know who own this account in the past. Pretty nice account in perg with huge MS and 10 plenty att planets, including att/def duals.
You can change your name, but not ID.

I had so much problems when I traded it for my old one because of this so dont worry, dual was stolen, attack planets got taken, I get massed alot.
First of all who exactly are you ? I see you have 1 post, your id = 0

I traded my account, I knew with who I was dealing and I TOOK THE RISK. It is NOT agains the rules to trade accounts - it is not cheating or anything.

And dont quote me and call me a liar. Show me exactly where lied ? I simply said I took me a lot of time to get to THIS POINT, meaning I spend almost 3 years playing and I traded only once. Its always like this, you trade with someone who was a bad guy and all of a sudden you get treated like trash just because you wanted to improve your account.

And what does my id have to do with all of this ? Seriously, I traded my account and changed my name to my old one.
And yes, I am fully aware with who I traded, after all he got banned for cheating shortly after the trade. I was not and I got checked.

Baby don't be nervous. Maybe trader steal your logins. He know how to do that by MSN.

Sure sure, while he was offline he managed to steal everything else I had password protected at the same time, and he probably also threw those trojans aswell. He even set my old world of warcraft subscription and is playing as I am writing this... seriously now.
I read that getting information via msn is not possible unless the other person sends you a file or something, which he has never done. I still have him on msn so no it wasnt him





Edit : my God, retrieve password worked, I never even thought of this I guess problem is solved, I`m sorry for making such a hassle about it. Will a mod please delete this, and sorry again

Amm before it gets deleted... send me a msg ingame because I dont want to have any enemies because of someone else. Send me a msg what he did and I hope I will be able to sort this out with you
