Life,
When you stop and look at yours, Are you lonely, Is there someone you can share any sercet with, That will be there for you and you for them, That you would do anything just to hold them and never let go, Truely look in to your own hreat and ask your self the same question.
If you love them would you go to the ends of the world for them, Would you take on any foe to get to them,
Would you die for them.

All our young lives we search for someone to love. Someone who makes us complete. We choose partners and change partners. We dance to a song of heartbreak and hope. All the while wondering if somewhere, somehow, there's someone perfect who might be searching for us.
Absence is to love what wind is to fire; it extinguishes the small, it inflames the great.

Question.
If God created th most powerfull thing on the planet (love) why did he make it so it could hurt when it is surpose to be the moat peacefull thing on the planet?

God created fire to be used for warmth, yet we use it to torch people and houses. The same can be said for love; God created it to be good, and it is good (much like we still use fire for warmth), but we use it as a tool of destruction.

(think of those Redwall kids' books- a sword was created to defend the weak and the frail, but can also be used to cut down the same)

It's been a while, but I'm not desperate enough to die for it.

Heh. The problem with love is, for most people, your not feeling love at all--you confuse the desire to possess, and lustfully own your partner...and you call that love in the place of the divine feeling that is by far above that.

True Love is something that is Unselfish, Unconditional, and always in motion. With your Love, be like the sun--always giving it out, to all who are blessed enough to recieve it. When you can do this, you need not be the star that chases venus--for venus will be the star that happily orbits you. You need not be hurt by this either, for in the warmth of this Love all your wounds shall be healed.

Love is not a feeling; the feeling is affection. Love is a choice. When you love someone, you choose to overlook their problems and shortcomings and instead focus on their best qualities. Ask any married couple in love, they'll say they can think of a dozen reasons that they could get a divorce. But they don't, because they choose to forgive and move on with their lives.

That's not love either.

If you really love them, then you love ALL of them. When I'm in love, I accept the whole woman--not just the picky-parts that I like. I love all of her, for who she is and not what I want her to be. That, is love.
