I see no topic was made yet (while I see many series I never heard of having their topic, well

), so I felt I would make one.
I started to watch this serie yesterday as it came to tv on start of season 1. I am somehow positive about it after two episodes. Story is interesting, reminds me a little of X-Files and Primeval.
Backgrounds are very well done, heard they were made by computer, well, good job! Seems to have more money invested than Primeval for special effects.
Not to mention Amanda Tapping looks pretty nice as well as the one playing her daughter Emilie Ullerup does.
And no I don't want spoilers

McKay was hilarious in that first ep, as I recall.

I've gotten used to it but when I saw her on the premier of SGU I was like "PICK AN ACCENT DAMMIT!!!"

Just watched episodes 1-4 on the weekend and not sure yet, of course Amanda Tapping is still hot, the daughter is bit lame for the fighting chick, seen far better kickass skills in Buffy, Dark Angel, Sarah Connor, etc. And the guy seems to be there just so they can explain things out loud to the audience.
I'll stick with it for a few more episodes and see if it picks up

couldn't stand the accent! she kept falling off it and sounded like her gob was full of marbles, it ruined the series for me

Since when don't Americans have accent?

You guys have one of most recognizable accent along with British people (most understandable accent, the one from good english language speakers, that is) or Indian people speaking in english.

Ya I know lol, that makes sense. When I first talked with Harchester on Xbox Live after I said not even 5 words he says "Holy **Filtered** you're American..." American, as if it was an adjective.
@Dudenoob; Ya I get what you mean... I watch Sanctuary sometimes but don't mind if I miss an episode or anything.. no big deal.

When you say someone does not have an accent you are merely stating that said person speaks with the most common accent for your country. In America this would be the Midwestern accent(there are numerous accents in America), it has nothing to do with whether or not someone believes that the world revolves around America. Your comment demonstrates your ignorance in the matter.

Holy **Filtered**, you mean to tell me that Americans speak differently than Brits?

Troll much?

last 2 eps have been utterly rubbish
Hero was slightly amusing but still pretty bad
as for Pavor Nocturnus, probably the most pointless episode so far
